Nautilus had developed websites for each of its brands which presented a challenge to the Nautilus team to maintain consistency among them. Content updates were a manually-intensive process and there wasn’t a way for the Nautilus management team to look across all of their businesses and generate a single view of their complete product suite. In addition, Nautilus was approaching the time when millions of people announce their New Year’s resolution to “get fit”, and there was a need to get the project completed before the launch of the massive marketing initiatives.
The Acquity Group team worked with the Nautilus Internet Marketing team on an accelerated timeframe to develop common standards for the marketing of all Nautilus brands. Our team then developed customizable templates which allowed each brand to create a distinct look and feel and marketing message, but keeping within the overall Nautilus brand while reducing maintenance. The Acquity Group solution created a single source for all products and content, allowing for much easier maintenance and provided the opportunity for Nautilus to cross-sell its products.
Acquity Group finished the project on time and under budget. Nautilus now has an optimized framework that will allow them to quickly build branded websites within the overall Nautilus brand. Acquity Group created an overarching corporate site (www.nautilus.com) for the full family of Nautilus products and marketing managers are now empowered to update and maintain content across brands from a centralized source, removing the silos that previously existed.
